There are many reasons why I choose to eat a plant based diet. About 3 years ago, I chose to try Dr. John McDougall's starch-based diet. I bought his books and downloaded Mary's recipes, and frankly, loved it!
I had already been eating a flexitarian diet - which I would define as mostly plants and mostly organic. The shift to eating starch-based-vegan was easy for me.
My intention in my work as a Healthy Lifestyle Coach is to support my clients in achieving less-stress and more-success. Eating plant based foods are quite simply, easier to digest than animal foods. That alone creates less-stress in your body and a light fresh feeling that contributes to your success! Try it and let me know how you feel.

The UnSmooth Smoothie
Sometimes, my home-made green smoothies end up tasting pretty awful! I love sharing recipes for both raw and cooked dishes, but green smoothies seem to make up their own mind as to how they will taste - so I don't want to share! Maybe it has to do with the bitterness of the greens, or tartness of the berries.
Today I'm applying the adage, "If at first you don't succeed, try again." I will not give up on making smoothies, especially with the abundance of greens we have from our CSA share.
What are you willing to "try again" today? Put your intention upon the outcome. How will you feel when you succeed? Now, step into action.

Success= Writing Down Your Thoughts
There are many approaches to journaling, and I've shared my own formula in my upcoming book Keyed In - 7 Keys To Transform Your Life.
As a start, unearth or purchase a small notebook and keep it with you. When you have down time, grab your notebook and write a story. Tell a story in the present tense of an experience that you would like to have. Write it as if it has already happened. Putting our thoughts and feelings in writing, and experiencing positive emotions about the experience will align you with success!

Dream a Little This Summer
If you have children, you know that summer is a great time to explore and create. If you were a child (wink) you may remember the same.

What Are You Thinking About?
Have you ever noticed that what you bring your attention to often appears in your life?
