The summer heat has hit the east coast. Here are my ideas to keep you cool, in body, mind and spirit:
1. Eat more raw food. Spiralizing summer squash and tossing it in with a raw tomato sauce or ginger peanut dressing makes an amazing meal. If you don't have a spiralizer, then use a veggie peeler and peel away your summer squash. Simply blend some fresh tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and basil for a cool refreshing sauce. Add other spices as you see fit.
2. Take that pause. When you are in relationship with another, remind yourself to respond rather than react. Keep a cool touchstone in your pocket - such as a smooth stone or sea shell. Use your touch stone as a reminder to keep your cool, breath, key in and then respond.
3. Visualize it. Take 2 minute in the morning before setting off into your day. Imagine yourself being and doing all that you wish to accomplish in an ideal way. Feel the feelings that you want to experience, just in that moment.
BE COOL.

Calm and Confident
Calm and Confident are the two C's that will make your day, and the best part is, you are in control of them. Get to an emotional place where you are calm and confident.
From a place of calm, you are able to interact with others by responding, rather than reacting emotionally. When you are confident, you are able to make decisions and feel great about yourself. You have so much more to offer the world, when you embody the two C's.
Are you willing to take your "Vitamin C's today?

Celebrate the Summer Solstice
June 21st is approaching and is known as the Summer Solstice. The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, and the shortest night.
Consider having a bonfire to celebrate this day of light! The solstice is a "new year's" of sorts. It marks a tipping point on the calendar ,the beginning of Summer, and the opportunity to celebrate the light in you.

Summer Plans
When the school year comes to an end, it's common for our children to be asked the question, "So what are your plans for the summer?"
Kids are busy learning new sports, perfecting their favorite sport, mastering math, taking adventure trips and more.
It's summer for YOU too! What do you want to master? What do you want to try for the first time? How can you carve out time for some summer fun and exploration, just for you?

Expect the Unexpected
Release your attachment to the outcome arriving in the exact way you imagine it. I know this may sound contrary to my coaching on creative visualization.
However, when you visualize, you want to see yourself celebrating how you want to feel when you have what you want. It's this feeling that you are seeking. What actually happens may take a different form than your expectation. And that is fine. So expect the unexpected and stay aligned with how you want to feel when you have what you want.

Clear Your Stuck Negative Emotions
Did you know that emotions are Energy In Motion? Your body is the vessel that contains your emotions and they are meant to move through your invisible meridian system.
When you leave negative feelings unaddressed, they become stuck in your body. Stuck negative emotions become a catalyst for physical symptoms of illness.
- First, identify what you are holding on to.
- Ask yourself, "How does this serve me?"
- If the answer is, "It does not serve me."
- Then it's time to let it go.

Get Your Gratitude On
Did you notice how many things went right today?
If you didn't, take a moment now and write down five events or things for which you are grateful.
Be sure to add something you are grateful for about yourself to your list.
When you are grateful for YOU, your energy resonates at a higher vibration, and you become both a greater source of good and a greater attractor of good things coming your way.
