Step 1: Wake
up 5 minutes earlier and visualize your day, from beginning to end, unfolding
exactly as you would like it to.
Step 2: Choose
a touch-stone and place it in your pocket or in a place that you will see it
often. When you see it or touch it, use this as an opportunity to ground
yourself in the present moment. Stop your mind from its
crazy-multi-tasking and focus in on the matter at hand.
Step 3. Practice 10 deep slow
breaths counting 4 seconds in, 8 seconds hold, and 8 seconds out. You can do
this exercise watching TV, walking the dog, or showering. Breathing in
this manner will release both toxins and stress that have accumulated in
your body.
Use these techniques to launch yourself into
less-stress on a daily basis!
